Dear Clients,

I hope everyone is safe and well. Since we closed the office, two things have happened. First, the President has ordered the Treasury Secretary to delay the due date of tax returns to July 15th and the IRS issued the official notice.

Secondly, Dallas County has issued a “shelter in place” order for residents of Dallas County. While my office and I are in Collin County, most of my staff lives in Dallas County. That order is effective through April 3rd, so our office will remain closed at least through April 3rd.

We have some staff set up for working remotely and are in the process of having others set up as well. We have received documents for the preparation of our tax returns for some of you via mail and email. Please keep that up. Our processing time will take longer than normal due to the situation.

We appreciate your patience during this unusual and challenging situation.

As I mentioned before, our main voicemail is being checked regularly, and I will be monitoring my email, which is I welcome any inquiries.
